ABRASION STATION #3

THE KRYLON COPY CAT VINCENT VAN GOGH TAG YOURSELF SHELF

So you’re a tagger, right? An urban “art-teeest,” the world being one big “FREE-FOR-ALL!” concrete canvas of Krylon expressionism. You’d like to think you’re Futura 2000 and have the talent to do a piece, or at least a throw up. But let’s face it, all you can do is spray paint your initials and run! You are not the Taki 183, the first tagger in history, and this is not New York City back in 1970. That statement was made THIRTY years ago, and it was as redundant then as it is now. So, you still want to tag? Hop up on the shelf. Why a shelf and not a chair? Because chairs are for lone pioneers and you’re a copy-cat and there’s dozens like you. Van Gogh cut off his ear. Want to prove your artistic integrity? Start by tagging yourself bro! Spray paint your own skin right now and if you don’t have the guts to do so, GO HOME! Because the spray paint, like this event, is “free for all.”
